How ALT4U handles your information

ALT4U collects only the information needed to provide website-generation, account, payment, support, and security services. Payment-card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by ALT4U.

Referral attribution

When you follow an approved affiliate link, ALT4U may store a first-party referral cookie for up to 30 days. It contains an opaque, signed attribution token—not payment details, service credentials, or purchaser personal information. The token helps us credit a purchase to the correct affiliate after Stripe confirms payment through a signed webhook.

We may retain privacy-minimized click records, including a random visitor identifier and one-way salted hashes used for abuse detection. We do not store raw IP addresses in the affiliate system. Direct visits do not erase an active referral, and invalid or expired referrals are ignored.

Affiliate reporting

Affiliate dashboards show aggregated clicks, conversions, revenue, commissions, and payouts. They do not disclose a purchaser’s email, name, address, payment identifiers, or order details. Authorized ALT4U administrators can access operational records for support, fraud review, refunds, disputes, and payouts.

Retention and choices

Referral cookies expire automatically. Operational records are retained only as long as needed for attribution, accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute handling. You can remove the referral cookie using your browser’s site-data controls.
